Published configurations

Paired AABB queries with and without projection pruning.

Measured operation

The CSV workload varies cell geometry, representation degree, grid resolution and distortion. Interior, shared-interface and nearby-miss queries compare pruning enabled and disabled on identical points; Point cells omit the inapplicable shared-interface family. Independent membership and returned-point checks precede measurement.

Timing boundary

Query blocks alternate the paired configurations and report median process-CPU nanoseconds per query. Separate repeated constructions report nanoseconds per index build. Geometry and query preparation are excluded. The original sample counts and block-duration policy are retained; --list enumerates the exact configurations without performing numerical work.

Recorded results

Each case retains its original inputs, iteration policy and correctness checks. Raw reports preserve counters, repetitions and the Google Benchmark context. CPU, wall and manually supplied times are labeled separately; unlike operations and configurations are not averaged together.
