Named mass and diffusion forms compared with equivalent integrals.

Measured operation

Named forms and integral expressions assemble the same mass and diffusion operators on two- and three-dimensional P1 and H1 spaces. Mesh and finite-element-space construction precede timing. Each iteration reassembles the global form and exposes the stored nonzero count, so these are complete form-assembly comparisons rather than isolated scalar kernels.

Recorded results

Each case retains its original inputs, iteration policy and correctness checks. Raw reports preserve counters, repetitions and the Google Benchmark context. CPU, wall and manually supplied times are labeled separately; unlike operations and configurations are not averaged together.
